Ingredients:

  • 1 lb macaroni

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup cooked collard greens (drained)

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • ½ tsp ground mustard

  • ½ tsp white pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook macaroni according to package directions.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour. Slowly whisk in milk. Cook until thickened.

  3. Stir in cheese, white pepper and ground mustard. Combine sauce with macaroni, collard greens, and sausage.

  4. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
