Oven-Baked Pork Tenderloin
Pair this tenderloin with mashed potatoes, dirty rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Add a drizzle of BBQ sauce for extra flavor!
Oven-Baked Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
1 double pack of pork tenderloin (contains 2 tenderloins, usually 1.5 to 3 pounds)
4 tablespoons BBQ rub (store-bought or homemade)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels to ensure a good crust forms during baking.
Rub the BBQ rub evenly over the entire surface of the pork tenderloin. Ensure all sides are well-coated for maximum flavor.
Place the cut butter on top of the tenderloin. This helps keep the meat juicy and adds richness to the dish.
Place the seasoned pork tenderloin on a foil-lined baking sheet or in a roasting pan.
Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the tenderloin reaches 145°F (63°C). Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
Remove the tenderloin from the oven and let it rest for 5–10 minutes. Slice the pork tenderloin into medallions and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
